Being in business is great

Being a business owner – it’s really great! Isn’t it?! 🙌🤔

A client once told me, that because he owned his own business, he found it hard to have good friends.

Many people he thought were friends, never really understood what his life was like. That’s something I really resonate with.

They often think that when you work for yourself you;

• Can choose when you work
• That you earn a lot more money
• Have more freedom

…. But I know many of you reading this now are thinking…

 “Yeah right you’re having a laugh aren’t you?!” 😁

The reality is, that you often find yourself;

• Working long hours
• Earning very little in the first few years
• Struggling to switch off from work
• Feeling like know one understands

So why do you do it?

Personally… I really enjoy owning my own business.

I like that it’s up to me if it succeeds or not, but it’s taken a while to get that balance right.

There’s so much that I know now that I wish I knew when I started out!
