CJS Freight

Jeff joined RDG when he was a small sole trader specialising in airfreight transportation via road. The company was increasing in size so Jeff sought out the help of RDG Accounting Limited further to the increased volume of work. In 2016 we advised and assisted in the setup of the limited company CJS International Ltd in order to help with the company growth and improve profitability while minimising tax costs.

Jeff has worked in this industry since 1986 as a driver delivering airfreight and Rolls Royce aero engines to airlines all over Europe and airbus industries in Toulouse. Jeff then moved onto Transport Manager and set up his own company in 2003. He continues to travel up and down the UK with CJS International Ltd from his base at East Midlands Airport. Jeff also assists with the yearly local community carnival in Long Eaton by providing one of his vehicles as a float for the local Rugby Club.

Throughout his journey and as the company increased in size Jeff continues to work closely with RDG Accounting to make sure he is complying with the complex rules around VAT, bookkeeping and payroll. As an employer Jeff has become aware of the many aspects of employing staff and the rules around holiday, pension and sick pay, all of which we continue to offer support and valuable knowledge. Jeff always receives a warm welcome when he visits our office to drop off paperwork work and attend accounts meeting, which usually results in him staying a little while longer for a nice chat.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to say how helpful Caroline / Payroll - has been to me
recently with some tricky requests, and sorry to see her go - but wish her all the best in her new venture. However, it goes without saying that all the staff are very cheerful and helpful.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Russell was incredibly helpful from the very start. I had left it a bit late to submit my accounts, and wasn't really sure what to do for my first year! Russell talked me through it all step by step, and was always so prompt at answering any questions I had. I will be using RDG Accounting going forward and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Russell and his team.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We love the personal service we get with RDG and their response time is outstanding. We never feel or are made to feel stupid even when we ask the most obvious of questions and they genuinely treat even our small business like we are the most important client on the planet.

This is what accountancy should be like.
